Dbase Designs’ mission is to provide information management systems in support of our clients’ goals towards increased profit and operational efficiencies.
History
Dbase-Designs is owned by Matt McCluskey, MBA.
“With a wide range of experience in a number of different industries, I have acquired the tools and perspective that can translate into immediate gains for your company.
My work experience began over 20 years ago as a fabricator of custom industrial insulation, where I learned the importance of exactitude, attention to detail and hard work. After earning my B.A. from UC Davis in 1995, I worked in Customer Service and Sales in the staffing industry. The companies for which I worked were start-ups, performed well and I managed one of their branches. Their success was due in no small part to the outstanding customer service I consistently provided, and trained my staff to provide. Here I learned the importance and necessity of a truly customer-centric approach to the sales effort, and the inherent problems that can arise when we sell what we can’t support. I adhere to the idea that when we strive to put the customer first, profit follows. This idea manifests in thoroughly understanding what the customer wants and needs, and using a consultative approach to help the customer meet their goals. Operationally, this idea requires us to have the infrastructure necessary to support the sales effort.
A successful business requires an effective sales effort and sound operations to support that sales effort. Having been on both sides of the fence, I’ve found that my true passion lies in helping businesses develop the systems necessary to achieve increased profitability. Effectively managing the information a business generates and transforming that information into strategic action items describes the purpose behind Dbase Designs.”
